NJDEP to join International Zero-Emission Vehicle Alliance

In furtherance of NJ’s ongoing efforts to implement strategies for greenhouse-gas reduction, this month, the NJDEP has joined the International Zero-Emission Vehicle Alliance (“Alliance”). Much like the Multi State Zero Emission Vehicle Action Plan, which NJ already committed to, the Alliance is “focused on reducing greenhouse gas emissions from the transportation sector by expanding the market for zero-emission vehicles.” The Alliance identified three main, immediate goals: “implementing smart charging infrastructure, developing funding for the transition to zero-emission vehicles and expanding access to those vehicles.”
